team advancing neurodegenerative disease discovery. As a Scientist
- Automation Assay Specialist, you will support the development and
support of automated assay workflows—primarily on the Tecan Fluent
Platform—while leveraging your experience with other laboratory
automation systems. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement
automated biomarker and workflow strategies. Collaborate with
cross-functional teams to design and execute preclinical
experiments. Prepare and process samples from cells, rodents,
non-human primates, and humans. Plan, optimize, and validate
automation scripts for preclinical and clinical analyses. Adapt
manual methods to automation for high-throughput assays; apply
statistical tools for data analysis. Maintain detailed electronic
lab records and communicate findings clearly. Design, script, and
maintain automated workflows (ELISA, qPCR, JESS Western Blot,
etc.), including troubleshooting and instrument maintenance. Train
and support scientists on automation platforms. Basic Requirements
BS or MS in a relevant field with at least 2 years of industrial
R&D experience (neuroscience preferred). Additional
Requirements Hands-on experience with Tecan Fluent
software/hardware, including troubleshooting, minor repairs, device
integration, and de novo Fluent Control scripting to meet project
needs. Experience running manual immunoassays and converting them
to automated platforms. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel,
PowerPoint); familiarity with VBA or other programming languages.
Strong communication skills and experience teaching or supporting
others in a lab environment. Experience with worklist-driven
scripts, liquid class modification, and labware training. Data
analysis using GraphPad Prism. Experience with ELISA, protein
assays, RNA isolation, and cell culture. Experience with Tecan
hardware including FRIDA, Hydrospeed, carousel, Infinite reader,

on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic
location. The anticipated wage for this position is $65,250 -
$169,400 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a
company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual
performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit
