GENERAL SUMMARYThis position is responsible for supporting the tasks of the Engineering department.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*Offlines / Repair

• Circuit Analysis and troubleshooting
• Soldering/ de-soldering Electronic components
• Test Units to specification using Engineering EquipmentIncoming Inspection (Quality Control)
  • Measuring key mechanical and electronic attributes to ensure component quality
  • Documenting measured attributesTest Equipment Construction
    • Building/assembling Test Equipment to Engineering Specification
    • Maintenance and calibration of Test EquipmentNew Product Construction
      • Reading schematics and PCB layout and interpreting them
      • Building/assembling prototypes and build samples to specification
      • Building Test Fixtures to Engineering Specification
      • Documenting Build procedures, test fixtures, build samples using best practicesSMT Machine Programming
        • Exporting CAD PCB data from layout software
        • Importing/Adjusting CAD data into placer
        • Placer calibration
        • SMT Oven Profile editingEngineering Team member
          • Attend and contribute to team meetings
          • Provide information and support to FDI team members
          • Communicates and represents the organization to customers and other external sources
          • Establish and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationshipsPHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS (include but are not limited to:)While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers, reach with arms and hands, stand, sit and walk. The employee must have the manual ability and dexterity to use tools for prolonged periods, the cognitive, intellectual and mental functions necessary to handle more than one complex task at a time. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty (20) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.WORK ENVIRONMENTThe noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. This position is subject to varying and unpredictable situations; may handle emergency or crises; is subject to many interruptions; may handle multiple calls and inquiries simultaneously and may occasionally handle absentee replacement on short notice.               • AS in Applicable Engineering Discipline preferred
              • Current school enrollment toward applicable Engineering discipline degree and work experience will be consideredKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
                • Advanced knowledge of production analysis techniques
                • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
