At StarPlus Energy, a joint venture between Samsung/Stellantis, join us in establishing the first plant of its kind in Indiana. As a Compensation and Benefits Specialist, you will play a leading role in our company's positive culture by helping us create an effective organization as the automotive industry moves toward an electric future. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of the company's compensation philosophy to include analyzing and comparing data, making compensation recommendations, and processing all compensation transactions inclusive of new hire offers, promotions, internal moves, and compensation reviews. The candidate will also be responsible for the management of the company's benefits program. Additional responsibilities include survey participation, market pricing and data analysis to recommend structure adjustments, as well as support of annual salary increase and variable processes.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Analyze, generate, deliver, and approve timely compensation offers. Use consistent, equitable and standardized compensation practices to make compensation recommendations.Develop process documentation, instructions, and resources to assist the HR team and leaders as it relates to compensation activities.Partner with internal customers to ensure strong change management in support of compensation-related rollouts and/or updates.Support annual compensation planning processes including the development and management of tools and resources to support salary increase and bonus programs.Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of compensation related data in systems such as job codes, salary structures, position codes, etc.Oversee and administer employee insurance programs including health insurance, life, and disability plans.Manage employee savings plans such as 401(k) and personal savings plans.Monitors and analyzes insurance carriers reports to ensure compliance.JOB REQUIREMENTS3+ years of administering compensation and benefit programs is required.Previous experience with compensation planning tools / software is required.3+ years' experience with analytics tools such as Excel or Google Sheets is required.Bachelor's degree in business management, Human Resources or related discipline is preferred.Ability to analyze data and make recommendations.
