BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for "dynamic,
results driven " individual to join as an Advanced Power
Electronics Systems Engineer at our Indiana Technical Center (ITC)
with locations in Noblesville or Kokomo, Indiana.
The Advanced Power Electronics Systems Engineer i s responsible for
developing power electronics features and products.
Systems design for advanced power electronics projects
Develop and document hardware, software and control
Create mechanization drawings and allocate functional requirements
to hardware & software elements
Develop control algorithms for power conversion applications
Use simulation and analysis tools to evaluate design tradeoffs and
Checkout and debug new hardware & software in a lab environment
Communicate project status internally and externally
BSEE or equivalent degree required, MSEE preferred
Training or 3+ years of experience in power conversion systems and
microprocessor-based systems is required
Experience in power conversion and interface circuit design is
Familiarity with automotive electronics is desirable
Experience with system simulation and modeling tools and circuit
simulation tools is preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
Strong interpersonal skills required
Ability to travel 20% both domestically and internationally

BorgWarner Safety Policy Manual. This individual will work in a
manner that stresses the importance of preventing accidents and
illnesses. He/she must take every precaution reasonable in the

In addition, he/she is responsible for reporting all injuries
and/or possible dangerous situations, incidents, or occurrences to
their immediate supervisor.
