Job Description:
Saab, a leader in the global defense and security sector, is
seeking a seasoned Senior MRB/Liaison Engineer to join our dynamic
team. This crucial role focuses on resolving engineering issues
related to manufacturing, completion, and maintenance of airborne
systems. Situated at the intersection of innovation and precision,
this position supports Saab's commitment to delivering high-quality
defense and security solutions that meet the complex needs of our
operations. The ideal candidate will serve as a pivotal point of
connection between engineering, production, and quality assurance
teams, ensuring that all products not only meet rigorous defense
standards but also uphold Saab's legacy of safety and excellence.
Evaluate and recommend resolutions for non-conformances in the
manufacturing and assembly of aircraft systems. Collaborate with
engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure comprehensive
defect resolution. Lead cross-functional teams to analyze and solve
complex problems affecting aircraft performance and
manufacturability. Document technical solutions and communicate
necessary changes to all stakeholders. Provide expert oversight
during the implementation of changes and ensure compliance with
industry standards. Maintain thorough records of investigations and
resolutions to facilitate continuous improvement. Champion the
adherence to best practices, safety standards, and regulatory
requirements. Strong proficiency in aerospace engineering
principles. Expertise in Aircraft Manufacturing, Assembly Line
Troubleshooting and Quality Assurance. Solid understanding of
regulatory environments including FAA, EASA, and military
specifications. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and
leadership abilities. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k FAA DER (Designated Engineering Representative) or
equivalent preferred. PMP certification beneficial but not
required. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is
an advantage.
