Job Description:
Ascension Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Registered Nurse (RN) to join our acute rehabilitation team. This
position involves providing top-quality care and support to
patients recovering from severe injuries, surgeries, and other
acute medical conditions. Our mission is to uplift each patient

patient dignity and spiritual wellness. This role demands a highly
empathetic and skilled professional who thrives in a dynamic,
supportive environment aimed at aiding patients in achieving their
highest level of independence. Assess patient condition by
monitoring vital signs, symptoms, and overall physical and mental
health. Collaborate with physical therapists, physicians, and other
health professionals to develop and implement comprehensive
rehabilitation care plans. Administer medications accurately and
safely, and observe reactions if any. Educate patients and their
families on treatment regimens and home-based care necessary for
recovery. Document patient care services by charting in patient and
department records. Maintain a compassionate environment by
providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to
patients and their families. Ensure the cleanliness and proper
operation of all tools and equipment used in patient care.
Proficiency in patient health assessment Strong clinical skills
with a focus on acute care and rehabilitation Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively
in a team-oriented environment Knowledge of healthcare regulations
and safety standards Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of practice Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing
(CRRN) is preferred but not required
