working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in South Bend,

required Ability to pass tele rhythm identification quiz
Description: The nurse will work on the 7th Floor Intermediate
unit. This unit specializes in cardiac and stroke care. Proficiency
in reading, identifying, and reacting to cardiac rhythms is
essential. Failure to understand rhythms can negatively impact
patient health. The nurse will work a 3x12 day schedule from 07:00
to 19:30. There are no call requirements. Every other weekend is
required. The nurse may float to like or lesser units as needed.
The patient-to-nurse ratio is approximately 1:5. The role includes
managing a variety of cardiac drips such as Heparin, Cardizem,
Amiodarone, and Lasix among others. The unit sees a high acuity of
adult and geriatric patients. The daily census is around 36
patients with a total of 36 beds. Interdisciplinary support
includes physical therapy, respiratory services, social services,
and rapid response teams. All modes of oxygenation are utilized
except for ventilators. Candidates must be familiar with telemetry
and have experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and management.
Travelers must be willing to work one of the three major holidays
if requested. Compliance with professional conduct standards is
