Job Description Job Description Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1 years Pharmacist experience required. A contract opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist specializing in Long Term Care to support pharmacy operations in Noblesville, IN. This assignment spans approximately nine weeks with a potential extension, starting as soon as possible. Key Responsibilities: Review and dispense prescription medications accurately and in compliance with legal regulations. Monitor patient medication adherence and identify patterns of overuse. Maintain confidential patient records and manage pharmacy documentation. Counsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and answer questions to promote safe and effective treatment. Offer additional patient services including smoking cessation support, blood pressure checks, cholesterol management, and education on medical device usage. Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions following protocol. Supervise pharmacy personnel including technicians and clerks. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to resolve drug-related issues and optimize patient care. Ensure pharmaceutical inventory levels are maintained appropriately. Desired Experience and Qualifications: Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Current pharmacist license issued by the appropriate state board. Prior experience with intravenous (IV) medication preparation. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Some weekend rotations may be required.
