Urology Skillset Majority 3s & 4s in Urology section to be
considered a PASS Description: We are seeking a dedicated
Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical specialty. This position
involves working with adult patients across various diagnoses,
primarily in urology, plastic surgery, orthopedic oncology, and
surgical oncology. The nurse will provide care that includes
management of surgical drains, IV starts, and administration of PCA
and insulin. Travelers may be expected to float to different levels
of care, depending on patient needs and hospital resources.
Previous charge experience is preferred. Charting experience in a
required system is essential. Travelers must be prepared to work
weekends and holidays as part of their commitment. Candidates are
expected to maintain a flexible schedule and be adaptive to the
dynamic needs of the unit. All job functions must be carried out in
accordance with established protocols and best practices. 5
