Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Indiana Residents not Eligible for this position. First Time Travelers Accepted Locals: NOT accepted Certification Requirements: ACLS and BCLS Years of Experience: 2 year(s) Skillset Requirements: Level 1 or Level II Trauma Experience, Telemetry, IV Start, and Cardiac Drips - Titrate Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist Hospitals REFUSAL TO FLOAT MAY END IN TERMINATION OF CONTRACT Staffing Ratios: 1:3-5 Based on Acuity Unit Information: Post Cardiac Surgery, Post Vascular Surgery - NEEDS STRONG CARDIAC/Post-op heart experience Charge coverage: Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.
