Pay Information $2,871 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 18 months in relevant areas License: IN or compact license required Certifications: BCLS Must-Have: Experience scrubbing for CV/PV/Heart and Lung transplant rated 3-4s Experience in heart/lung transplant, valve replacement, aortic dissection Ability to receive pump lines from perfusion and prepare them for cannulation Level 1 trauma center experience Description: This position requires scrub expertise. Candidates must confirm comfort scrubbing and possess the necessary experience ratings in specified areas. Weekday shifts consist of 4 ten-hour days. On-call and holiday work are required, with an expected volume of 90-120 hours of call within a 6-week schedule. Applicants with Level 1 trauma experience will be considered. Local applicants will receive a reduced rate. RNs should possess skills in circulating and float within various areas as needed. The average daily case load is 70-80 in a 24-room facility. RNs require a well-rounded skill set to adapt to diverse needs, with the possibility of floating to other units or nearby locations. Experience with specific surgical equipment is necessary. Floating is a mandatory requirement for all travelers. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Supervisor references are required. Background checks will be conducted prior to offers.
