And above all, it means exceptional care, simply delivered and we couldnt do it without you.Make a DifferenceThe Ambulatory Registered Nurse functions as a member of the Gastroenterology Care team, conducting duties such as phone triage, patient education, scheduling appointments, contacting patients with results, prescription refill, referrals, care coordination, assisting physician with nurse visits as needed, rooming patients as needed, and other related tasks. The office is located in Kokomo, Indiana, but department training will take place in Kokomo & Anderson. The nurse will also be required to travel to the Kokomo & Anderson offices once trained. There could also be some limited travel to the Westfield office once trained.Exceptional Skills and Qualifications-Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience.-Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).-One year or more of nursing experience required.-GI experience preferred.-Previous medical office/outpatient experience preferred.-Phone triage experience a plus.-Excellent communication skills.-Excellent team skills.-Compassionate and caring.-Accountable and self-directed.-EPIC experience a plus.Why Community?At Community Health Network, we build teams that deliver exceptional care through empathy, communication and collaboration.
