At StarPlus Energy, a joint venture between Samsung/Stellantis, join us in establishing the first plant of its kind in Indiana. As a Talent Manager you will play a leading role in our company's positive culture by building, developing, and sourcing a talented team to help us create an effective organization as the automotive industry moves toward an electric future. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES You will drive the culture, development, and engagement of the workforce through talent management and talent acquisition activities, building and supporting a positive culture and ensuring an effective organization by: Partnering with the business on workforce planning, including recruiting strategies, organizational design, job assessment and definition.Working with plant leadership to develop a strong talent pipeline and succession plan through the execution of robust talent development strategies.Proactively identifying employee development needs and work to execute methods and processes to meet the needs of the business.Collaborating with plant leadership to proactively build capacity by leveraging internal and external resources to drive change and increase capabilities of the organization.Managing performance appraisal, development, and advancement processes.Driving a positive workplace culture by supporting plant employee engagement initiatives.Managing workforce deployment based on company policies.Overseeing and supporting the development of the plant HR staff. AREAS OF LEADERSHIP Customer service mindset providing the best support possible to employees, managers, and key stakeholders.Leading talent management activities and successfully building talent pipelines. Assessing talent gaps, creating, and executing plans to close those gaps.Managing recruiting and talent acquisition processes.Coaching and collaborating with leaders regarding their talent needs both current and in the future.Managing manpower and headcount for organizations.Analyzing data and using data to make decisions.Focus on the development of others, always working to support the growth of those around them and throughout the plant.Focus on the future, using the shared vision of the plant to guide current developmental activities with an understanding of what will be needed.Innovative and adaptable in application and execution of processes to support specific talent needs of the plant.Collaborative with on future company capability needs.Ability to manage activities as well as interface with Leadership.JOB REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree.5-7 years of experience in Human Resources or related fields.Proficient with Microsoft Suite.Excellent written and verbal communication skills. PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS Advanced degree in Human Resources or related field.7+ years in Human Resources.Experience leading others.Manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
