Job Description Job Description CNC Machinist $25 - $35/hr | Terre Haute, IN Job Description As a CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous production of high-quality parts that meet customer expectations. You will be responsible for loading parts, operating machines such as Lathe, Mill, and EDM, performing minor edits to CNC programs, and replacing tooling as needed. Your role includes inspecting completed parts using precision tools and maintaining quality standards by understanding our Quality Management System. Responsibilities Load parts and operate Lathe, Mill, and EDM machines. Ensure continuous production of parts that meet customer expectations. Perform minor edits to CNC programs and replace tooling as needed. Inspect completed parts using micrometers, indicators, calipers, comparators, etc. Maintain quality standards through understanding of the Quality Management System. Essential Skills 2 years of CNC machining or CNC operating experience. Knowledge of machining principles and various machining technologies. Ability to perform tool changes and operate precision measurement tools. Strong understanding of standard CNC controllers, especially FANUC. Ability to understand and interpret blueprints. Demonstrated mechanical ability. Ability to maintain close attention to detail and accuracy. Effective time management skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of G&M codes is a plus. Ability to perform basic production shop mathematics. Experience with Haas, Fanuc, and Mazak equipment. Familiarity with troubleshooting and inspection in a production environment. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a clean machine shop environment, operating as a night shift lathe operator from Monday to Thursday, 3pm to 1am, with a 20% shift differential. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Terre Haute, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
