Merchants Security Service provides uniformed security officers to the Dayton and surrounding community. While we primarily observe and report, customer service and a smile are a must. Our team works with you to support you in as many ways as possible. We offer full- or part-time positions. We are flexible depending on your needs. We pride ourselves in working with our veterans. Security officers perform various functions to keep company property and environment safe and crime free. Some of the duties, tasks, and responsibilities commonly performed by our officers in charge of security in organizations are: Protect and/or watch over company assets and spaces Watch security cameras to detect any form of suspicious activity within the environment Set alarm to provide alert in case there is any form of disturbance or emergency within the environment Sound alarm or place necessary calls to the appropriate authorities (police or fire service) in case of any emergency Secure spaces and ensure the safety of those within company environment Control and supervise the entrance of both individuals and vehicles in the office area Monitor the exit of all employees to avoid theft of company properties Maintain written logs Provide assistance to both employees and company customers in a friendly and polite manner Carry out investigations and prepare reports on incidents or any form of suspicious activity that takes/took place Compensation details: 15-17 Hourly Wage PI8cb62a63413f-25448-34667268
