landscaping firm seeks a General Manager who is a highly skilled
professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-expectation
environment. The GM oversees daily operations, builds relationships
with high-net-worth clients, ensures operational and cultural
excellence, and drives profitable growth. The selected leader will
transition client relationships, optimize operations, and
ultimately lead as the business expands. The ideal candidate brings
a blend of operational excellence, strategic insight, and financial
acumen to maintain high standards and deliver exceptional results.
Operational Leadership & Business Strategy Oversee and direct all
daily operations for landscape construction projects and
maintenance to ensure efficiency, quality control, and adherence to
company standards. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to
streamline processes and drive profitability. Monitor financial
performance through budgeting, cost analysis, and forecasting.
Ensure operational excellence and cultural alignment with the
company's high-performance expectations. Uphold a Completed Staff
Work Mindset, ensuring that all work submitted to leadership is
thoroughly analyzed, decision-ready, and requires no additional
refinement. Proactively embrace and resolve challenges with
accountable leadership Client Relationship Management Manage and
strengthen relationships with high-net-worth clients, ensuring
world-class service and ongoing trust. Lead the transition of key
client relationships from current leadership to ensure continuity.
Maintain a proactive client engagement strategy to anticipate needs
and deliver tailored solutions. Leadership & Team Development
Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team committed to
operational and service excellence. Instill a culture of
accountability, continuous improvement, and high standards. Work
closely with senior leadership to establish and maintain best
practices. Strategic Growth & Market Expansion Position the company
for growth by identifying new opportunities, revenue streams, and
efficiencies. Expand the brand's presence in the market while
maintaining its reputation for excellence. Drive innovation in
service offerings to enhance client experience and business value.
Financial Management & Profitability Ensure financial
sustainability by managing budgets, controlling costs, and
maximizing revenue potential. Identify and implement strategies to
improve EBITDA and overall profitability. Analyze and optimize the
business mix between maintenance services and high-end design/build
projects. Qualifications 7 years of leadership experience in
operations, general management, or business development within
landscape construction projects, maintenance in the high-end
industry. Proven track record of successfully managing
relationships with ultra-high-net-worth clients. Demonstrated
ability to scale business operations while maintaining excellence
and financial discipline. Strong strategic planning and execution
skills with the ability to implement systems and processes that
enhance efficiency. Financial acumen, including P&L management,
EBITDA growth, and financial reporting. Outstanding leadership and
team-building capabilities, with the ability to develop and inspire
a results-driven culture. Adaptability and problem-solving mindset,
capable of leading through a transition and driving continuous
improvement.
